IDES Timeline

For those of us who have signed our findings and have been waiting for our new eas. Where can we check or call to see if it has populated. I know admin is supposed to let us know is there anywhere else?
I want to know this too lol

Any VA loan with a funding fee is a fucking joke. Talk to your realtor on the lender theyre used to using - I got 2.3% with 0 funding fee, 0 points (points are just 1 point = 1% of home cost as a fee). Veterans United was offering 2.4% with 2 fucking points. Please, PLEASE, PLEASE! Reach out to multiple lenders and DO NOT ACCEPT A FUNDING FEE/PAY FOR POINTS. I can personally talk you through all of this if any of you need help.

My realtor told veterans united to buzz off very respectfully by emailing them "Please tell me how you serve and help the veterans who served and protected you, by charging them thousands of dollars unnecessarily." The Veterans United lender didn't even reply, just canceled my loan.
I sent you a PM

Received my findings today!!! Now I am accepting the findings, waiving IDES, and taking TERA.

I’ll post my timeline if anybody wants to see it.
Snooped your history, thats insane that yours went to QA the 8th and is back. PEB is so confusing on how they work, how's mine still there since the 27th?

Congrats. I’m pretty sure I’ve been at the QA phase as long as you were. Go ahead and post it bro. Congrats!
Referred to IDES: 19 Aug 21
Last C&P exam: 23 Sept 21
Accepted by PEB: 28 Oct 21
VA proposed ratings: 20 Jan 22
At QA (post VA): 8 Mar 22
Received findings: 15 Mar 22

Hang in there bro. Your findings will come in any day.

I thought it would never end and can only imagine how people feel that are 200+ days at the PEB. I will say this though… I am more stressed now that I have my findings than before I received them. I’ve been doing the same thing for 16 years, with no expectation on getting out until 20. I have interviews lined up, but no job confirmed. It is so difficult to hit the timing just right!

My advice to you all is start applying early! At the very least you get good practice interviewing with employees. You might be surprised to find that some employers will hold the position for you.

I feel ya. And thanks for the input. I’m at 14 and I’ve never gone out of the MOS. Nerve wracking for sure. But exciting. And I hope everything goes good for you! Good luck

Yea, I’d say it’s a little bit of good and bad anxiety lol. I didn’t retire on my terms so it is a little disappointing. However, I’m trying to see it as a blessing in disguise. Keep your head up!

Yea, it makes no sense. I have a Marine in my unit who’s package was accepted a month before mine for a similar condition and still hasn’t heard back. His PEBLO won’t give him any updates, which also baffles me.

I want to know this too lol
Yup I wanna know if the Navy has their own MMSR we can call to see where our new eas is at. Its been a while since I signed and I'm starting to wonder if my paperwork got lost, besides admin I'm not sure who us navy folks can talk to.

Same. My 2 weeks is up tomorrow, and I guess I have to be patient until then but I don't wanna lol

My case (mh/epilepsy) moved from mo to line officer today. Submitted sept 14 with mo oct 19. Can someone translate what that means?

from reading the order it goes MO, LO, then PO

Well hopefully it won’t be too much longer. I know the MO is the longest stage. Idk how long the LO and PO usually take.

Hello guys. Sorry if I'm being annoying. Paranoia is starting to settle in lol

I signed my findings Mar 3, my two weeks is coming up here tomorrow.

Anyone know how long it should take to get the separation message with the new EAS? My EAS is currently April 20, and I'm about to have to put in for an extension in a week if I do not get the separation message by then. I'm definitely trying to avoid that lol

Damn. Ok. Looks like I'll post likely have to submit my extension again before I get it. Just being impatient since I've seen same-day signers get theirs back already lol
