IDES Timeline

Ohhh got it. Mine is fibro too and I’m waiting on my percentage. The way I understand it the rate should be 40% based on not cured by therapy (no one is cured for fibro from therapy) but my assumption is they will give me 20% also…
My IDES lawyer said it depends on what they checked on the “refractory to treatment” box during your QTC appt. They checked it off on mine so I’m expected to get 40% for fibro. Not sure how true it is, just thought I’d share!

I couldn’t remember the word but that’s it. I went to physical therapy that was closed out because I wasn’t “cured”. My exam he didn’t even ask me any questions and I ask him and he just said “oh it’s in your record so I don’t even need to examine you for anything.” But he marked no so I’m expecting 20%.

What?! That’s crazy. He should’ve been more thorough. It is insane how a simple check in a box can take the rating from 20% to 40% when those with fibro know almost nothing seems to help and there is no “cure”. At least I haven’t found it yet!

It also depends on the D-RAS rater. I was supposed to get an extra 10% because the examiner checked off the box that I am not able to cross my legs but I never ended up getting that extra 10%. I didn’t care in the end because I got 100% P&T, plus SMC-K.

last week when i asked for one, my PEBLO said their supervisor was out for the week and so he couldn’t give them the report, im not sure about this weeks situation tho
We’re you able to get an update this week?

So I got my proposed VA ratings back from the VA took about 3 months from time QTC exams were sent thru. Was expecting around 70%-80% but it looks Like they have me at proposed 100%.

Question: Since the VA got this completed pretty quickly, could that possibly expedite my PEB timeframe? Also, what are the chances of this VA rating getting reduced?

I don't think it will necessarily expedite your process.. for me it didn't at least. But once I got all of my findings, on it it says I have to do another VA QTC appointment 6 months after separating to reevaluate my mental health rating and my attorney said at that appointment they could lower my rating based off what I say. But until then I for sure have 100% VA and it could stay at 100% after that appointment depending on what happens. Hope the extra info helps!

Another day without my EAS updated. MMSR-4 told me yesterday my EAS wasn’t gonna change from April 28, like they said it would. It’s April 12 and my unit won’t let me check out until my EAS is updated.

That sucks, did they verbally convey that or in an email? I would show email to admin if that’s the case or get that stated in email.

So the EAS is going to be later? I have no idea what they are doing. Every step of this process seems like there is no accurate timeline whatsoever. Sorry Brother

So my RCC at Wounded Warrior updates me on my case every week. Yesterday she called and saw movement on my case. I really hope that those before me have finally gotten their ratings. But anyway, she said I was at the ADMIN IIIB stage. Which I suppose means I've been found unfit already(?), she said I should be hearing about my ratings within 2-3 weeks.

Has anyone else heard about this stage? I'm not sure who it's with at this point if it's past all of the officers.

For Navy people here, once you are found unfit that TDRL/PDRL message will be coming out within 1-2 weeks. And your command will most likely miss it in message traffic, stay on them because the later you get the message the later you start everything.

If you want to change your EAS to be sooner your command needs request the new EAS date by emailing this email: [email protected]

Hope that helps anyone !

200/168 - I am with quality assurance as of the report this week or last weeks. Can’t remember which my peblo said. So I assume I’m unfit. Hopefully I get my findings back before the end of the month.

For Navy does anyone know if you can start your terminal without orders, & with just your EAS message?
