Is there any positive to the IDES process? All I've read so far are negatives. I've just starts the process and I have until tomorrow to decide if I will do the IDES or legacy process.
You get active duty pay for the entire period you are going through the IDES process and active duty treatment (sometimes preferential, depending on your job) at medical facilities.
