Looking at past posts im confused what this step actually is? Im assuming all my exams have finished quality control and now since it is released back to the PEBLO im awaiting for the MDG to complete a NARSUM and local MEB?

OCT 8 2025: Peblo emailed and said she is compiling all my documents. Once compiled the Local MEB has around a 3 day turnaround, and ultimately, she has 20 days from today to get to the IPEB. Was notified of potential for delay at IPEB due to govt shutdown.

Im worried about the delays that are occurring at the IPEB and with generating orders. Leave it to the politicians..

Once again, I am told of the PEB and Ratings offices being completely unmanned, and that requests to move people around was unsuccessful, round of applause to our government.

OCT 29: va claim has been closed since before my case was sent to Ipeb.. rated 100%. Havent gotten the first myfss email though

Asked PEBLO for update on IPEB submitted 22 OCT but opened 14 Nov

As of 19 Novemeber it is “PENDING DRAS”, but i have had my proposed rating since october 17th, so what is the delay? She said she sent up me and 2 others on the same day and one of them came back today
 
26 NOV 2025: Called Va to double check if ratings were done (i got proposed in october).. Va says claim is opened again and awaiting final review… kind of confused because from what I am seeing they must have given the ratings for the PEB for it to be reopened and working on the Decision letter, but i havent received my PEB results . Frustrating

The VA used to wait until you were deemed unfit, but due to the long time it takes to do ratings they just start whenever your exams are certified if they get a chance

ive had no activity on the VA app or website and ive already been deemed unfit. IPEB made this decision on the 25th and i guess it was sent straight to the ratings board, now i wait..

I don't think the VA app or website say anything until we are officially separated because technically our ratings are just "proposed" until we receive our DD-214s. You can call the VA status line and they may have updates but that's the only place you can check other than with your PEBLO.

That’s what my MSC told me, because we’re technically not veterans until we separate with dd214. I just see a lot of people saying they have visible claims in the VA app before they get official word from their PEBLO. I called the VA this morning and they said I was awaiting proposed ratings

Yeah that's weird, I received my first rating back in September and my VARR results in early November and I sill haven't had anything populate in my VA app other than the vague message saying the decision letter is ready (which you cant even click on). I hope you're able to get you results soon though! I hate the waiting game.
 
Yes, when your proposed rating is finished you will see a closed claim populate. It will not show you any information, but it is there and will say step5/5. Once you separate it turns into step 5/8 and thats when they turn it into a decision letter. Once it shows on app though most of us just call the VA and say something along the lines of "hey I am trying to get a copy of my BEL but my phone is not letting me download it. Can I get it emailed to me?"

Most of the time they will say no because it flags we are in IDES, and VA policy is strictly to not give us it since it is proposed and can cause issues if they happen to change the proposed once you separate. Other times they will send it if they dont care or are bout to leave shift (I always called later in the day)
