I have questions and not a whole lot of answers. My peblo gave me a IDES timeline sheet that I'm assuming I should have just balled up and thrown away because after reading some of the threads on here it's all a blatant lie. Why do things vary so much from person to person. When can I expect any answers from AFPC or the VA. I called providence early today and they said they haven't received my package yet but on the IDES timeline it's only supposed to take 15 days. I've already had to extend past my HYT date and I refuse to do it again. I would rather get out with nothing than stay in the toxic work environment that I'm in. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated
 
Don't throw the timeline away, it may not be exact but its still a good guide for following where you are at in the process. I made notes on mine and wrote the dates that specific things happened. You signed your package and the PEBLO Sent it down to Texas to the board, that ended the MEB phase and now you are in the PEB Phase. Keep an eye on ebenefits, as soon as the board makes the fit/unfit decision it will usually update within a few days. If you are found unfit by the IPEB your package will go to the VA and then you can start calling providence for updates. I recommend weekly. My timeline was only off by 20 days from the one the PEBLO gave me so far. The VA is taking their sweet time making a decision on ratings now though.
 
I agree with what Adam said. The timeline is good to know atleast where you are in the process but the timeframe that they listed isn't exactly correct. I would check ebenefits about every other day and call providence about once a week. Once the VA sends your rating to AFPC it could take anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks (which is what I waited for) for AFPC to send your ratings to your peblo. I hope your process goes swift and smoothly!
 
Agree with the above posters that you should hold on to it for reference purposes. And while they won't (in all probability) stick to the timeline, you will be held accountable to specific deadlines in terms of how many days you'll have to rebut, appeal, etc.

As for why does it vary from person to person, it is because everyone's case is different. In terms of what their conditions/issues are as well as what each person wants out of their case.

You directly won't hear from the VA or AFPC, at this point in the system you'll here everything from your PEBLO. Yes you can call the VA for a status update but it is hit or miss as whether they'll be able to tell you anything different than what you see on eBenefits. As for refusing to extend again, make sure your PEBLO is aware of your feelings towards that issue. I had to sign an MFR requesting I be retained on active military status beyond my term of service due to the IDES and it won't even come into play until June 2nd, based on my current DOS. I also recommend talking to your attorney
 
I would like to thank you for taking time out of your day to respond and thank you for the advice. Now let me give you all a little update my package got sent back from AFPC because my Narsum was not completed properly. So on April 1st it was sent back to AFPC. I thought they had 30 days to make a decision but I am on day 48 with no word. I called providence to see if they have recived my fit or unfit determination and they have not yet. I have been keeping a close eye on Ebenifits (even though I know it's not that reliable) my dates on there keep creeping closer and closer to current time. My Peblo told me AFPC has 60 days to make a determination. Has anyone else on here had there's take that long. I am staring to get worried and more and more anxious if there was a way for me to forfeit everything and get out tomorrow I would . Anyone have any insight or suggestions to help me get through this. Any help would be greatly appreciated
 
So I had to make a new account on here I am the original poster on here but lost my password and when I went to reset it it never sent. No big deal I created a new account with a one on the end of it
 
Now let me let you guys in on what is becoming my horror story on March 29th my narsum got sent back so it could be corrected by my doctor. My package was sent back out on April first. So last week I called my peblo to see where things were at and how things were going. He looked me up in the system and immediately told me I'm going to have to call you back ( usually never a good thing) so when my Peblo call r me back he tells me that my Narsum got sent back again on 18 April for the Narsum not being correct again and now my case is closed ( whatever that means ) so they told me to go to all my civilian doctors to get notes and X-ray and Mri's from all of them and bring them to my doctor on base which I am in the middle of doing right now trying to figure out what doctors I went to see if they still have my records so I can bring them back to base. Has anyone else had any problems like this and does anyone know what it means that my case is now closed?

Does anyone know why i would have another Ebenefits claim pop up if i dont have a package in because i thought a second claim only came up when your package was at the VA. Has anyone else had any bad luck with this whole process it seems like I just keep getting dumped on.
 
Does anyone have a copy of this time line? I did not get one.

I read on some posts that a second claim popping up in e-Benefits is an indication that you were found unfit. Best Wishes!

So it turns out that my package was sent back up for a third time and was finally accepted. It only took 2 and a half months but its there now i can only hope this part of the process goes quick so i can sign for ratings and start getting me and my family out of here.

So today i called providence to see where my package was at with the VA they said that the package was completed and sent back. now im confused does the package go back to the IPEB or do the ratings come do they come straight to the PEBLO from there, does anyone have any guidence on this.
 
Received my ratings yesterday 50 DOD and 60 VA tdrl overall I'm excited just to be one step closer to getting out of here. Now my wait for orders anybody have any idea how long it's been taking to get orders. Also is there anyway to request an out date other than take what they give me
