Just finished terminal, medically retired. 70% DoD/90%VA. When should I expect my actual rating to populate on VA app? My initial VA claims (with all stuff documented through IDES) has been showing in Evidence Gathering since May 12, 2023.

Have you uploaded your DD214 to the open claim? I loaded my DD214 my first day of retirement and the decision later populated very quickly thereafter (about seven days).
does that mean it can take up to 2 months to start getting paid?
If you uploaded your DD214 back in late June , you will likely be paid in August. You became eligible for VA benefits in July. All VA benefits are paid in appears, so you are not due any VA money until August!
Does that mean you're not eligible for back pay to the day of your separation?
