Rough timeline of how things have been for me since starting. Full disclosure I am remote to Knox due to being on Recruiting orders. MEB process while remote is difficult and make sure you have a phenomenal civilian PCM.

22 Jul 2024, MEB Brief
Beginning of Aug filed a delay due to family members health and traveled essentially on emergency leave.
Sep/Oct 2024 Completed all C&P Exams.
12 Nov 2024, Roughly 1 month later signed NARSUM.
27 Jan 2025 Claims closed
28 Jan 2025 Told I had a added claim by the VA and had to complete additional exam. It did not affect anything.
29 Jan 2025, had to submit paperwork of contract extension change to finish MEB as original ETS was supposed to be in 2 days.
30 Jan 2025 Notified of Ratings. 0% DOD, 100% P&T VA and scheduled appt with lawyer.
3 Feb 2025 Had meeting with lawyer. At this time I was advised that the DOD is trying to cut me out with no severence even though 199 states I would get one. Agreed to fight the DOD, had 10 day extension filed.

Currently, trying to schedule appts with a specialist to help my case and organizing paperwork to submit. Everything looked good and in favorable conditions when I looked over my NARSUM so I did not choose to contest at that time. Now I am doing a uphill battle to get stuff added and to have stuff added. Having issues with tricare getting authorization approved and closely monitoring. Entire process has been exhausting, started taking new anxiety medication, expecting a new baby and a whole whirlwind of emotions and uncertainty. But things are finally moving forward.

Any dice winning that battle? How did it go?
It has been rough. Ultimately it came down getting a P3 added for PTSD with multiple conditions for eval to the FPEB.
Last week everything was submitted, my lawyer submitted for Migraines, my right shoulder and PTSD and only one made it through. Now I just wait to see if they will adjust my DOD rating before the FPEB or if I have to wait for that.

Got a FPEB date of 31 OCT, not too excited about that given my current work situation in recruiting. Already spoke to my PEBLO about trying to get it pushed to the left and waiting to speak to the lawyer in more detail about the FPEB once her paralegals schedule the meeting.
I'm going to have to sign another extension past my ETS date for the second time so trying to figure out those details again.

UPDATE.

1AUG25 Was notified the PEB came back and new DA 199 reflects 50% TDRL.

Currently working through on what to do, still awaiting legal council as my previous MEB Lawyer was terminated during the contract drawdown. Leaning towards taking the new decision over waiting for formal board as I am completely burnt out. Main focus is staying long enough for my wife to give birth in about a month, I have enough leave days but still a concern.

Update

Accepted the 50% TDRL, and today 14Aug received my PDIR with my NLT date being 12Nov last day and 13Nov being on the “Retired list” got told I should receive my orders tomorrow.

Good news is already completed CIF, although now in a rush to complete clearing before my wife pops out baby #2.

Did they say what the TDRL was for and what to expect? Assuming there is a condition they expect to get better and will re evaluate. What did the VA say in regards to proposed ratings? Good luck man!

Out of the 2 conditions I added when I requested the FPEB they added 1 which was the PTSD. They didn’t explain what they found that needs to be reevaluated but the time timeframe they put on my new 199 was roughly when I got thrown on every pill for Insomnia which I still have to take some form of something in order for me to sleep and it’s been almost 8 years. I did ask my new lawyer what it was they were looking for and they claimed they have no info, I did not feel comfortable moving forward with the FPEB with that lawyer based off the call and their response to my questions so that’s why I declined continuing that route.

For the VA side I kept my proposed ratings from being reviewed because I’m happy with the 100% P&T. So now I just wait until I sign out on leave.

Oh ok. Well I would look into what you can expect for the DOD side because with a temporary retirement percentage there is a possibility of them reducing your percentage at some point. You want to make sure it atleast stays above 30% if I remember correctly.
