I wanted to begin this thread by posing a couple of questions for you folks as I am having some trouble with leave stuff.
Also wanted to begin this thread, period, because I’m sure there are people out there curious about submitting leave after their names hit TRANSPROC, through IPPSA.
So to begin, my name recently hit TRANSPROC and I got my NLT date. I figured out what system to use for submitting leave (DA 31 or IPPSA), by talking to the 1SG/CO at the company.
It looks like the method upon which you submit terminal leave is unit dependent. Mine was through IPPSA, and it required two separate requests.
Finally, my question to you all is: my Company Commander signed off on my 20 days of PTDY and 50 days of Terminal leave; can I take off on leave? The only reason I ask is because traditionally, 20 days of PTDY and 30+ days of leave requires BN signature (or so I’ve heard). What to do here?
