VA Complete: 30 APR 2023
MEB Complete: 23 May 2023
Sent to PEB: 2 JUN 2023

Any idea what the timeline should be to hear back from the PEB? Legal says it should be any day now, but PEBLO says it could be a few more months? We’ll be at 2 months since it was sent to DC next week.

Forgive my ignorance. What does 70/90 mean. 70% DoD and 90% VA? Hopefully I’ll be finding out my stuff soon too.

I didn’t hear anything from my PEBLO, but the letter from the VA (it’ll come in the mail or you can call to get it emailed to you) after it closes stated “Your military service department requested a disability assessment from VA because you were found unfit for continued military service…… We are proposing that your total combined rating for service-connected disabilities is %…… We provided a copy of your proposed rating decision to your service department’s Physical Evaluation Board Liaison Officer (PEBLO)”

So I take this as the service (Navy PEB) found my unfit, so now the PEB, is requesting my ratings from the VA to finalize it. And based on what my calculated expected VA claim was based on the DBQs, it was 90% so I know my referred condition (and thus DoD rating) will be rated at 70.

Did you have to call to see if your findings came in? Or did the peblo call you? My timeline is almost identical to yours.

You get a call from peblo best thing to do is not bother them. If you really feel like it you can but don’t do it often might piss them off lol.
