I had my FPEB in Feb this year i was put on the MEB list for Diabetes Type 2 i also injured my hand at a BA drill weekend the VA assigned me 20% for my diabetes and since my unit failed and submitted and LOD it was returned for correction since my unit did not correct it it was close after 30 days for inactivity so the VA did not give my anything for my left hand injury i went through 2 surgeries and a metal plate in my hand. but after my FPEB they found i had enough evidence to prove my injury was in the Line Of Duty. they submitted a memo to HRC FT KNOW KY for LOD determination and HRC approved my LOD so my documents were sent back to the VA for rating in March still waiting for a decision that way i can get more then 30% for Medical retirement does anyone know a way to find out the status of my case with the VA. In Nov i will hit the 19 1/2 year mark I'm currently receiving 70% from the VA that includes my 20% for Diabetes. right now my right hand is hurting since I'm putting more pressure since my left is currently part numb with pain in my wrist pretty soon it's going to be hard for me to drive.VARR is 6-8 weeks, months? I would more than likely be doing this option because I don’t have anything new to add for a FPEB. I’m just looking to potentially bump up the ratings to get over that 30% threshold.
I speak with my PEBLO Monday to go over the options but this info has been more helpful than the two I’ve been assigned. Can’t thank you enough.
