Has anyone gone through the MEB process that wanted to be returned to duty and been able to do so via LDS (or is it LAS)??
 
Yes. The PEB can and has, when warranted, returned members to duty, with limitations.

How possible is that if the commander impacts statement stated do not retain? I'm not sure if I'm able to send you a private message but if so, let me know I would be so appreciative.
 
CC statements probably carry the most weight in cases where the retention/separation case is not medically definitive. The answer to the questions on the form are more probative than the recommendation.

Guess I'm not sure then. In my case I feel I shouldnbe retained. My situation can be remedied and I can perform my duties at home without issue
 
No every MEB results in a PEB and not ever PEB results in separation.
