LRAFB Timeline

If the VA has rated you then you were considered unfit to serve. They don’t send your package to the VA unless you are unfit.
 
From my analysis, the entire process from the date the MEB package goes to PEB to the close of the VA claim takes about 8 weeks. I'll be in my eighth week on Friday, the 8th of August. So, it's likely mine should be closed by next week.

No I was not. I was told my DoS would be a combo of the leave I chose to use instead of selling (0 days), permissive TDY days (0 days), and then the 15 allotted out processing days.

I guess I’ll find out for sure whenever my orders populate.

Gotcha, I plan on selling mine with no PTDY as well.
 
Dang, I was hoping to be out by the end of August but I suspect that’s not going to happen and I’m going to have a huge pay gap before VA starts. Hell yeah
 
I just checked my VA account and my case has been Closed. Exactly 8 weeks. Who knows how I can get to check my rating before my Peblo call?
TIME LINE:
First C&P Exams: 4 May 2025
Last C&P Exams: 24 May 2025
NARSUM sent to PEB: 13 June 2025
VA Case closed: 13 August 2025

Call the 827-1000 number and ask for a copy of your decision letter to be emailed to you. That’s what I did and got it sent to me on the first shot.

Thanks so much! I gave them a call and they sent an IDES letter to me which I only saw that they gave me 100% and that’s it. No break down details. Is that the same letter you got?

Yes it is. My peblo gave me a copy at the 1180 signing that broke down what all was proposed for each condition. Congrats though!

Call the VA claim hot line at +1 (800) 827-1000 and ask specifically for “A copy of my notification letter to be emailed to me.”

If they say no, just try calling them again in 24 hours to see if it populated by then.
