Figured I would throw up a timeline if anyone needed it for comparison. My MEB/PEB seems like it's moving decently fast, even though I'm on an AFB and going through Stewart. I am an AD Army CW3 at over 20 years.
Side note: I submitted for retirement in August, retirement orders signed back in Feb with a retirement date of 1 sept. I was still found UNFIT. Per my legal counsel if the retirement orders are signed after MEB initiated, the UNFIT decision will trump the retirement orders. My back had worsened, so that also could have played a factor per "worsening condition" vs presumption of fitness in the reg. Also, I had 2 DBQ's with incorrect information, one for migraines. Did a rebuttal for the migraines at the NARSUM stage since I started taking aimovig (non-deployable injection) after the MEB initiated. Rebuttal was in my favor and migraines were then found UNIFT. The way my DBQ was written would be 0%, even though my migraines fit the 50% rating. This was because even though I have been seen for migraines for 15 years, take medication, multiple scans and MRI's....no PCM ever wrote the severity or duration. !!!!!!!!Pay attention to what your PCM's are writing on your clinical notes!!!!!!!!! I will update if the percentage changes due to UNFIT or if I need to appeal. Hope this helps someone.
