Hello everyone I'm SSG Kenneth Gonzalez with the USAR i have 17 yrs 5 months 29 the reason for my P3 is Type Diabetes taking Oral medication and diet, also have a P2 for IGA Nephropathy and Bilateral Hearing loss i considered NON-Deployable for my Kidney and cannot eat combat ready meals and cannot be exposed to hot weather because i can become a heat casualty because of my condition and the medication i take i have to be within 180 minutes of a combat hospital but i was found unfit because of my Diabetes same thing NON-Deployable have to be within 30 minutes of a Class A hospital with ICU plus have to have special meals. I have also been diagnosed with Obstructed Sleep Apnea and have to use a CPAP. In my VA claim i included this plus Tinnitus, Rhinitis, I also started a LOD which is still in the process i injured both of my hand whiling performing extreme PT had to have Surgery for left ulnar Reduction with a plate and screws, Carpal tunnel Nueroplasty, Elbow cubital Nueroplasty, i have a 10% rating for my Left knee but now I'm using a knee brace. Anyone here with experience would i get 30% or more so i can receive a disability retirement with VA compensation. I'm also a Gulf war veteran who was in combat operation with the marine Navy corpsman for Desert Shield/Desert Storm. See my DD3349 attached.

Service connection is the biggest issue for reservist. Hopefully one of the moderators with reserve experience will pipe in. As for your rating, there is insufficient information in your post to hazard a guess.

As long as everything is documented via LODs, profiles etc, it should be no issue

For my Hand injury my unit submitted an LOD but it got kicked because there were errors that needed to be corrected but i have a temp profile for my hand injury which has been extended three times for 90 for 90 days each up to May 2022 then I have to go for physical therapy. Now for my Type II Diabetes it happen when i was on a 3 year ADOS tour.

Stay on top of those LODs that were kicked back.
