I’ve been referred to MEB for a knee injury that i have a LOD for and VA rating already, i am in the national guard, but this injury brought other injuries as my other knee that compensated the change of gait and also is rated by VA already for secondary of my right knee.

The issue is that i’ve been MEB referred only for my right knee(P3), but i have other secondary conditions that i don’t have a LOD,how should i work i this case???

thank you

The NG doesn't care about secondary issues. They only care if they cause you to be unfit. So if those secondary issues are unfitting conditions you can argue that they should be added. I strongly recommend looking at hiring a dedicated private attorney. That's the route my wife did as an AGR soldier and it made all the difference in her outcome.

It will be an uphill battle. You should consider legal representation.

Ideally, secondary conditions to an unfitting condition should automatically be unfitting as well. But the Guard’s reputation is not ideal.
