Mental Health DBQ help

Just got my Mental Health DBQ posted to patient portal. I feel like I was completely screwed over as most of what I said was disregarded on the DBQ instead the examiner copied and pasted information from a psych appointment I had back in June 2024, despite going weekly for almost 3-4 years now… she could’ve atleast provided up to date and relevant information from my last psych appointment. She also checked box 3a as mild symptoms.

My question is, mental health is not a referred condition for me but I would like it to be added. What can I do to go about getting a more accurate DBQ explaining the actual severity of my 8 mental health conditions? I don’t think the 3a box was checked appropriately based on what I told her and the symptoms.

I can't guarantee it will happen in your situation, but I also had an unfavorable DBQ despite my substantial history. The physician writing my NARSUM ended up adding it himself as an unfitting condition as he actually read my history and not the DBQ.

My guess, and it would need confirmation, if you really want it added you can challenge the MEB result or better yet get your mental health provider to put you in for a P3 and then challenge the MEB.

Again, I'm new to the process myself but based on what I am understanding these are some options for you.
