Yeah for real man. I’m trying to plan my house buying so I can transition better but it’s rough without having a timeline or possible ratings to financially plan better

I just talked to both my MSC and PEBLO. I am still pending ratings and there apparently is no predictable timeline geez this is ridiculous
 
Just found out my girl just got her proposed ratings and my buddy got his yesterday as well. I started and finished all my exams/NARSUM before both of them. I’m so frustrated and irritated at this whole process that I’ve been waiting so long for a single update and I haven’t received anything. Every time I call the VA they tell me that they don’t have my PEB findings to work on my ratings and when I speak to my PEBLO he assures me I was found unfit and just waiting for ratings. I called the VA again today and got someone who was so unhelpful just kept telling me he cannot confirm nor deny if my case is being worked on or not.

I don’t understand either, when I call they always say pending ratings. Why can’t they tell me exactly where the packet is? It’s like either they like screwing with us or they don’t have access to their own system.

Spoke with my PEBLO this morning and all he said was “it’s at the PEB there’s nothing I can do there’s nothing I can do it’s out of my hands” and then the VA just reads their scripts when I ask my questions and they bring up some case files I had in 2019 when I fought my original medboard.

i just found out that my case is pending decision approval, but there is an issue with my claimed dependents and that now i have to prove they are mine with their birth certificates..... if its not one things then its another...

Well the first part is good news man, see if you can contact the VA and hear your proposed ratings. I’m sorry about the last part. I’m so impatient already haha
 
Just spoke to my MSC for the first time since submitting my claims, again deadend. Just told we’re waiting on ratings and it could “take a few months before the VA even does that.” and that my expedited memo for schooling and employment is useless unless there are financial hardships or homelessness. What’s even more infuriating is that I know 3 people personally that started weeks after me and have received there proposed ratings and signing their 199 this week. Why is it just mine that’s taken this long?
 
Just spoke to my OBUDSMAN, turns out I was actually found unfit June 2nd, not May 16th like my PEBLO told me for some reason.

I just scheduled all my appointments with QTC today. Will be done by end of the month after that. Then the waiting game begins.
 
Changed to “Pending Decision Approval” but I’ve called 6 times and no one at the VA has given me my proposed ratings lol, and my PEBLO is out on leave.
 
Dude that’s great. Check ebenefits under documents for the letter, I was able to see that letter days before my PEBLO called me for my ratings

Hey Matt. I know how frustrating you are especially them saying that. I look at it as sometimes they wanna shrug it off and not even consider trying to help I submit mine others did and it helped so it’s a matter of the person who’s your (advocate). I’m hoping you get some break on your case I genuinely understand. You’re almost there!!
