I like how I started the process two months before you did and you're just now receiving your findings while I am still waiting around for mine. I started July 7th 2023

You need to compare your VA rating dates. Your process to start the PEB phase may have taken a lot longer due to your condition.

What would be a VA rating date specifically?
Proposed ratings- Jan 8th 2024
Unfit/Request ratings from VA- Jan 16th 2024
Ratings sent to PEB- Jan 17th 2024
PEB Rating Review- Jan 18th 2024

Specifically when your ratings were sent to the PEB. Until that happens, it doesn’t matter how fast or slow everything before took. There is a 30-60 day window after that to receive ratings.

My post VA/QA also started January 17 so maybe I won't be far behind.

Gives me hope I will hear something soon!

How did you find out when your unfit/request ratings from VA date? I can now see that on March 7th my claim was closed so I'm assuming that is the next step and I'm not sure where I'd eventually find that.

I got the official date from my PEBLO but compared to others he has been awesome with communication. You have to remember that the VA and PEB operate differently so even if the VA says they are done it doesn’t really matter until the PEB requests the results.

I thought I would update that my retirement date has been set to 28MAY. I am on TAD to the area that I’ll retire to until the day prior to retirement. I’ve had an amazing skipper and command so please ask me any questions!

Congrats on getting that date. I entered QA April 4th, was found unfit. I’m assuming I’d get my results around mid May?

You definitely could but it depends. The PEB guy told me a couple of months ago that they were hiring more people/moving people over so it’s going quick.
