Congrats to you. Glad it worked so well. I have a buddy that is about to go into the SRU at Ft Benning. His issue to a shoulder surgery gone wrong. He has 17.5 AD years. His doctor says he needs to be in recovery for 12 months. So how long can he be in the SRU? I told him that if he is not fit for duty that he might be looking at a med board. Any advice?
