I was referred to a Medical Board by my Psychiatrist. This has been my timeline so far:

Referral: May 10
PEBLO Contacted me: May 11
PEBLO Interview/Intake: May 13
NARSUM Submitted: May 13
NMA Submitted: May 14
Attorney Interview/Intake: May 14
IDES VA Claims Interview from MSC: May 16

This seems to be moving pretty fast, any insight on to what to begin preparing for next.

A few questions/concerns come to mind?

1. Did you sign any paper work with your PEBLO and attorney? Should have be given the option of electing IDES/LDES, which hopefully they explained what each one was. You should be going with IDES!!!

2. With your NMA!?!? You have already laid eyes on it? Reviewed it?

3. Your MSC REP, the main thing that should had been covered was your VA form and documentation 21-526EZ form!! The meeting should have been going over this form and pretty he or she scheduling your C&P Exams.

In my opinion yes, it’s moved pretty quick! But you’re still in the very first stage of the MEB, which is all the admin proton. You have already gone through a few steps but now you should be expecting a call to get your C&P hands exams scheduled. Once those are scheduled and completed it’s kind of hurry up and wait. Your exams will populate on your Tricare online and you can review your results.

I could keep typing out a whole page of notes but I don’t want you to get lost in the sauce and get confused.

Feel free at any time to shoot me a message or just respond.

This process is very frustrating, draining mentally and physically! You are always wanting and seeking answers! Try and keep your sanity the best you can. Ask questions on here, do research of your own. Hopefully you got a decent PEBLO but if not hopefully your IDES Counsel offsets!!!

get ahold of Wounded Warrior and enroll to get a representative!!!

I will check back periodically to see how things are going for you! You’re not a lone!

All the best,

Brazzi
