Navy Timeline Question

Hello Folks,
Here is my Timeline so far:

IDES

3 Feb 23: MEB Initiated

21 Apr 23: Last VA appointment

19 May 23: Sent to PEB

11 July 23: Found UnFit

21 July 23: Claim closed on VA app

It’s been over two weeks and I called my PEBLO today who confirmed the PEB is putting together my package. PEBLO also insists, “Any day now”.
Does anyone know typically how long it takes after the claim closes on the VA app to receive your DOD and proposed VA results? Perhaps I’m becoming a bit impatient being closer to the end of this process.

Hey, so I'm pretty close to you, but my MEB finished and was sent to the PEB 2 JUN, closed on the VA app last week and I called and got my proposed ratings Monday. I'm expecting I should hear something from my PEBLO by the end of the month at the latest?

Someone earlier found the PEB's phone number and called them directly, but I'm not sure if it'll be any help or make them upset?

Except, my PEBLO says he doesn't know if I'm fit or unfit, so kinda curious how you found that out?

I’m hoping the end of the month latest as well. I’m probably not going to try my chance at calling the PEB. Don’t want to poke the bear.
As far as finding out I am unfit, I simply called my PEBLO and they told me. Not sure how they knew, I’m thinking since you got proposed rating your were found unfit?

That’s what I figured. I think it’s interesting how unstandardized some PEBLO’s are in the information they give.

My case was closed on my VA app but PEBLO hasn’t reached out to say if unfit or not? Any idea what’s going on? Been in PEB phase for about 2 months now.

My PEBLO didn’t reach out to me with fit/unfit decision either. I called them to gain confirmation. I think we’re all in the same boat here. Hurry up and wait per the usual. Hopefully we all should be hearing something soon.
 
This timeline in the link is a pipe dream. Do not get your hopes up because it's not even close to actual timeliness

Very good to know, thank you. May I ask about how long has it been approximately taking to hear from PEBLO after your VA claim closed?
 
My VA claim closed July 14th. I received my (proposed) ratings from the VA in the mail yesterday. I have not heard a peep from my PEBLO yet. The VA said the sent my stuff back to the PEB on Aug 2nd so they have had it roughly 8 days now.

Thanks for the information. That puts things into better perspective for me now.
 
Based on people I’ve talked to, I think once they send it back to the PEB, I think it should be 3 days to process back, 15 days at the PEB, 3 days to process to PEBLO. So if I haven’t heard after 21 days since it was sent to the PEB, that’s when I’d get antsy.

Thanks for the timeline information. Definitely helps with the anxiousness of just waiting.

Did you have to request the letter be sent to you? My case closed on the 19th of July. Just wondering if the VA may send it my way soon.

So I sent an inquiry message on the VA website end of July and they sent me the attached message back. I got my actual proposed ratings in the mail yesterday.

I called my PEBLO about my case being closed but not being able to see the rating, and he was no help. so I called my attorney and they were able to read my whole letter and give me my proposed rating. He said my letter has been sent to the PEB and that he would expect that I will have my fit/ unfit findings by the end of the month. Funny how my attorney was more help than my PEBLO.

Was this your Navy attorney or did you have a personal one? When did the VA Close your case? I think we're pretty close?
