Need some good news

I found this forum about a week ago and it has been more helpful to me than my PEBLO has ever been in this process. It’s been a long one and I’ve been learning about it all on my own it feels like. It means so much to read y’all’s posts and just relate to someone else who is struggling with this. For someone who is separating for mental illness, this whole process has been driving me crazy… but this forum brings me a sort of peace. I’m here for all of you and wish you all the best

My med board began in June 2020… my package was sent to PEB on 11 May 2021, it’s been with a medical officer since 12 July 2021… whatever that all means, I would just love to hear some good news from anybody!

The waiting is the hardest part for most members. Having a decision that will change your life in the hands of another is usually disconcerting. The good news is many on this forum have been through the process and done very well in the end.
