November Cases

It means I should hear something soon the presiding officer is the officer who decides with the mo fit or unfit if they disagree it goes to a third officer
Hey, so sometimes the reason you go to presiding is because they disagree on your DOD % as well. That's what took mine so long. I got my findings yesterday, 09MAR, and sign tomorrow, but I was with the presiding officer since 14FEB and the PO officially decided my DOD % on 24FEB. SO it could also be that they disagreed on your DOD %, not just the fit/unfit decision.

Everybody goes to the presiding officer in the PEB. It is in the IDES handbook and it is in this forumn by a man who works up at the PEB. I did see where someone told you that their case never went to the presiding officer. Not entirely sure that that is true, I think what happened with that case is that their case may have moved fast enough that when they got their update it had already moved past the presiding officer from their previous update the week before.

Post VA QA since Feb 27th, it feels like I'm running in place with the finish line a few feet ahead.

don't know all the terms yall are using but
Medical board initated in first week of November
Met with PEBLO for brief middle of November
all VA appointments complete January 5th
Medical and Non Medical assesments submitted first week in Februrary
PEBLO submitted it up on Februrary 14th
Got a call from my representative after PEBLO saying my case was under review Februrary 25th and told 6-8 months that was last I heard

November PEB submission. Got the call today, Friday afternon. Found unfit on 3 March, waiting to receive my official findings to sign them.

I’m here annoyed because they found me unfit 2FEB and waiting on VA ratings since ‍♂️

My proposed VA ratings were available even before my PEB case got to the MO. I'm talking a month after submission. Granted, my entire packet was pretty small (one referred condition, three additional claims) but I would start calling your MSC and VA reps to find out what is the holdup. If you've been found unfit but still don't have VA ratings...that's akin to the old system where it went PEB to VA for ratings back to PEB. Currently, almost everyone is seeing VA ratings before PEB determination...suggest you press forward on this.

To give people maybe an accurate guess - I was unfit 2/22 and didnt get findings until 3/17. So roughly a month from your unfit date
