November Cases

On this topic, does anyone know if MMSR-4 uses a specific formula to determine the EAS/separation date? I've heard different things to include 1) it's almost always right around 45 days since the day they received signed findings, 2) they add up all your leave days and tack on an additional 20 for PTAD, and 3) they actually work with the service member to work out a date. Not sure what to believe, but it's been a little over a week since I signed, so I'm halfway to knowing.

Talking to a Marine in my S1 who came from MMSR4 it is option 2

Option 2, but retirements are the 29th of the month so that plays a part too. so in my case, leave+ptad didnt allow ANY check out time so I have to sell leave. Be on top of all checkout before recieving EAS

@Jakeh27 @ImpatientlyWaiting Thanks for the info, option 2 seems to be the winner. I have 65 days of leave saved up so I guess I'll be looking at the end of June or July. Also, yes I'm entirely ready to transition, I can complete checkout in a day whenever I'm ready.

Its your own career/time but Id recommend start taking leave now to sit at home if your commands not just letting you chill. I haven't seen any med boards get eas dates that allow that much time. Especially when if i'm not wrong, 31+ goes to o6 level, 60+ goes higher.

Everything else done, and I had never used my IIF after pcs'ing here thankfully. I turned all that in the second i got unfit notice. I literally am waiting for capstone review for ipac, ipac for dmo, and thats it for my dd214, but I could be sitting easily a week or two, this is outrageous. Its so much easier to reenlist compared to get out
Okay that's good, I hope everything gets back on time, that sucks

On day 5 with findings, I know it's not garunteed but I hope my eas updates Wednesday

I have everything done, just have to pack
I’m more or less the same. Checked out of everything my unit will allow me too. Our Adj /pers shop won’t let us get a chackout sheet until outbound interview shows in MOL. So I just printed one off the share point

That's crazy, you should've done your outbound interview after you completed TRS

Outbound interview hmm, I did the exit interview with my VA rep, unsure of what the outbound interview is
Outbound interview is done through MOL every time you PCS (or sep/retire). As said earlier, this doesn't appear in MOL until the new EAS is set. MOL outbound interview is where you establish all your PTAD/terminal leave dates.
