Yeah I never heard of it either. They just wanted to confirm the issues were bilateral. Once I confirmed they said "great that's what we have documented".

Dang I have never heard of that I didn’t know they could email you directly about your condition could be quality assurance too tho.
Would quality assurance be that they have ratings and someone else is just verifying for accuracy? If that's the case I'd say based on the emails that's where it's at.

Yea it is verifying accuracy and “quality” making sure everything is correct and nothing is missed that is what my IDES Lawyer told me.

Update: just saw this on the VA website. I guess the BEL means benefits estimate letter.

To be honest I have never
Heard of a BEL. But I would be happy to see something on the VA website regardless lol you should call the hotline this week maybe you will get someone that cares this time.

Still on decision phase as of today. I’ll see if anything has changed by Friday. I wouldn’t be surprised if I end up waiting longer since my referred condition is very uncommon.

On the VA website my claim has been closed since 7/15. I called the VA today because I have not recieved my BEL by email or snail mail. The person I spoke to today said that my claim is now 31 items (I only aubmitted 24) and is in its final stages. He said once that is done THEN my letter will be sent. So clearly there is some disconnect and no one gives the same answer.

That’s some BS how could they add more claims even if you haven’t claimed? I’m just as confused as you.

II got this message from VA portal today. So sort of update I guess. Still more hurry up and wait. What's really got my knickers in a twist is that they said my phone number and address they have on file are not accurate.

I requested an update last week
My address was always wrong too and now my phone number isn’t correct since I just got a new number. I hope they haven’t been sending anything that I need because of their mistake.

I received my ratings in the mail today. There is a section that states its permanent and total. What does that mean?

I think you can find in a forum what it means most people call it just P&T but I have knowledge on it I’m sorry.

What I am seeing online indicates I'm at 100% which would be nice. Hopefully the PEBLO will get my total combined rating
