I know everyone likes to see where the PEB is at in terms of timelines. My case was accepted April 21st and I called my PEBLO today and he gave me the news that my case has been adjudicated… I was found unfit for service (he was able to tell me that through his tracker) but I am now waiting for the package to return to his office for me to sign it. He was not able to tell me what the findings said, he was only able to tell me that the case was adjudicated and I was found unfit.

has anyone been in a similar situation and know how long it usually takes for the case to get back to the PEBLO office?

Congrats if that’s what you were hoping for!! Are you Usmc?

I am USMC, and it is very good news thank you!
Mine was sent up Apr 16 so if my findings come back ill let you know lol unfortunately the peblo wont tell me if im unfitbut hopefully you hear the findings tomorrow

5 1/2 months (my math is shite)? That's great to hear! Were you past your normal EAS date?
Also Congratulations!

Was April 16th the date your case was accepted by the PEB or the date your MEB started? Also, was that the date the message popped up in MOL? Also, did the VA give you any ratings prior to hearing from the PEB/PEBLO (unfit)? If so, what was that timeline? My VA case was "closed" last week and ebenefits said that "we sent you a letter of our findings". However, a letter never showed up. I saw in a FB group that the VA letter actually goes to the PEB and not you. Side note: I'm in IDES, not sure if your case is different.

I shot you a message since I doubt anyone else would respond.

My case was sent to PEB around April 10, I got a message on mol on April 27, but I used the date that is on mol near where it says “PEB case accepted” as my date, which was April 21st.
My case was a little weird, in short, yes I got my ratings from the VA beforehand, I’ve had my proposed ratings from the VA since January…. I am also in IDES, I got my ratings from a lady that works with my peblo, he called her my “VA Rep” she emailed my proposed ratings to me as a PDF. The ratings broke down EVERYTHING, for example, one of my ratings is for migraines, it was a 40% rating, so it broke down why it was rated at that and all the other ratings it could have been. It is all very detailed and super thorough. The proposed rating also told me the dollar amount I would be receiving for the percentage I got.

Sheeesh, they hooked you up. Congrats, the main issue is that until the whole process is done, nothing is set in stone and service memeber were getting upset that they werent getting the estimated rating. But jeez I gotta get in contact with your va rep.

Oh I was far as the whole process goes I was far from hooked up, it was mostly because my doctor had a hard time getting my paperwork out to the right people and really postponed my case.

and I was really worried if I’d get my estimated rating or not but I got a call from the VA case manager in Rhode Island and he confirmed my ratings were the same (at least the dollar amount he said was the same) so I didn’t question it.
