So here's a question. What do you do when the PEBLO just stops answering your calls or emails? I was trying to get basic information like solid dates to compare them to some of yalls timeline. This lady is a nice person but I feel like she's under qualified for this job or can't handle it or just doesnt care anymore. I've had to fix SEVERAL things in my package when she sent it off to corpus Christi TX. She didn't include both referred conditions, which is crazy. Anyways, I was entered in IDES Jan 2021, exams completed in FEB/MAR 2021, and package sent to corpus MAY 2021. Still no word since. :( it's been a fun ride.

Your timeline is faster that others. PEBLOs do not work for the patient. The only person that works for the person going through the MEB/PEB process is service provided counsel.

My PEBLO told me several times he could not answer questions, because it got him in trouble with superiors.

I have been told that, but i was very proactive with getting the paperwork and VA visits scheduled. I don't understand how the PEBLO can't answer questions about a servicemember's case. I feel like this entire program needs to be re-evaluated and more transparent. Funny thing was, they didn't even try to enroll me into IDES. After my second LIMDU, my doctor had told me that they were not going to issue a third LIMDU or enroll me in IDES. When I asked if she thought I was fit for full duty she said no and she also said that she wouldn't feel right about signing my separation physical as I was. After getting in contact with an IDES attorney and applying pressure from CoC, I was finally enrolled. It just sucks because I know the VA has a proposed rating already but none of that information can be released because we are waiting on the Navy to do their thing. My last LIMDU period ended in Nov and it took them several months to enroll me into IDES

My PEBLO literally told me to stop calling him. I called him once to ask a question and as soon as I told him who I was he started speaking over me so that I couldn't even get the question out. He told me that "some people call me monthly, and that's too much, but calling me once a week is--I'm not saying it's harassment, but you need to stop calling me."

And then like a week later he scheduled an appointment for me to come in and sign my package so it could be sent off to the PEB, but when I showed up to Portsmouth hospital it turned out that fucker was working from home that day. Dude is absolutely worthless. I ended up getting called to come back to Portsmouth and sign my paperwork with his boss, and once it was sent off he told me "I can't tell you when it will be done because there's no way to know, but I'll call you when I hear something. Until then, don't call me because I won't know anything."

Going through NMCP as well. Sounds familiar to my PEBLO. They must all go through the same exact customer service training.

I personally would try to get in contact with my DES Legal Counsel and bring this issue up to them, my lawyer has been very helpful throughout this process and any question that may not be answered by your PEBLO your lawyer could answer or find the answer for you. Furthermore, if you feel that your PEBLO is being disrespectful towards you, I would submit an ICE complaint, there is nothing more a Civilian fears in the DOD realm than an ICE complaint and they are effective. Hope this helps!

I mentioned the situation to a sailor at my command who was also going through the medboard and it turned out she had the same guy as her PEBLO. She also said he was pretty terrible. She was recently medically retired though, so she doesn't have to deal with him any more.
