11SEP25 1st C&P exam
22SEP25 last C&P exam (under BDD)
02OCT25 Met with MSC ordered 1 more exam
4NOV25 Last C&P exam again
11NOV25 NMA signed by CO
21NOV25 PEBLO received all C&P exams
26NOV25 C&P reconciliation completed
28NOV25 VA app claim closed
01DEC25 Called VA, got proposed ratings
01DEC25 Received SM Certification
03DEC25 Talked with DES attorney
5DEC25 Submitted statement & rebuttal
9DEC25 Received provider surrebuttal
9DEC25 CA Certification completed
9DEC25 MEB phase Complete
9DEC25 Package sent to PEB

My PEBLO said it’s taking about 81 days for to get unfit/fit DoD ratings back from the PEB.

Hopefully since I already have my VA proposed ratings my process goes smoothly and faster.

keep checking with your MSC, thats how i found out that i was found unfit. however, im still waiting on proposed ratings.

How long did it take from when your package was submitted to the time you were found unfit? I’m not worried about being found unfit. I’m just ready to start my next chapter in life.
 
This is my timeline so far..
15 Oct 23-Symptons onset
Lots of appointments, medications, therapy, imaging
14 November 24-ACDF Surgery
10 March 25-Referred to AMRO Board
22 July 25-NARSUM Submitted
25 July 25-IRILO Notification-Full MEB Directed
30 July 25-DAF 1185 CIS Signed-Do Not Retain
11 Aug 25-First meeting with PEBLO
26 Aug 25-First meeting with MSC (establish VA claim)
11 Sept 25-First C&P (Mental Health)
13 Sept 25-Second C&P (Audiogram)
17 Sept 25-Third C&P (Overall/General Exam)
31 Oct 25-MEB Complete/Signed 618 and pushed to IPEB
1 Nov 25-4th C&P (Last minute Appt, VA requested to "refine info from 3rd exam")
14 Nov 25-First FSS email (day after government opens)
Then i reached out to my MSC on Dec 2 and was informed that my "unfit" finding was on 25 November and they sent my case to the VA for proposed ratings same day.

After I replied to you I found out the VA had finished my proposed ratings. Step 5 showing complete on the VA app. Hopefully the next few days I see my peblo to sign findings and accept.

Which company did your VA C&P Exams?

I went through VES as well and they were quick for me, i had the first 3 exams done in less than 2 weeks and i had a 4th one the VA requested and it was done 2 days after it was requested. buddy of mine out in vegas is going through VES as well and he did 3 exams in one week.

Yeah my exams were all done super quick but now the releasing to PEBLO is stuck in the ether

Well, the VA rep said that the VA has the claim and is processing it w/ IDES... but I don't understand why my PEBLO hasn't received it. Not knowing how their systems work is probably the worst part of it all lol.

While the VA has it, it sits with a rater then goes to a senior rate and their QA then it is input into an internal system called VBMS, your PEBLO wont receive it until the VA is done and transmits it back to the IPEB and the IPEB generates the DoD rating using the VA numbers then its released to the PEBLO. this is what im waiting for now.

Oh good lord.... yeah I can't even do the fit/unfit determination until these come back to the PEBLO (is what I am being told). I should really just not think about it until Jan lol.

81 days? I've been waiting almost 5 months. Submitted to PEB July 29th. I know many others in the same timeline / similar situation

I hate to be that person, but I would expect a few months. Before this whole mess, I was told 2-3 months. I think by submitting early December, you should be expecting February at the earliest. The backlog they have is nasty right now. You're VA claims are done. That's a good first step

I get it you not the person. My wounded warrior case manager said I still have like 6 months left. Iv done lots and lots of research and I just want to remain optimistic that I can retire at the end of March. I believe it should go faster based off the new system and my VA exams being completed but who knows. I wish we could see where it is at in the PEB process like why can’t we track it like we can track USPS, UPS, FedEx packages? Or even like we can track our VA claims. We are just left in the dark
 
Does anyone recommend reaching out to the PEB directly to see where their case is? And see if they can provide rough estimates? Or would they not appreciate that?
