Proposed va rating change?

Hey! So I got my proposed ratings and signed for them. I’m still being seen for things that I claimed. My mri showed my wrists were normal for carpal tunnel. I have it in both hands. Will that affect my rating once it’s official? I appreciate any insight.

MRI is not sensitive for carpal tunnel. Clinical exam and perhaps EMG/NCS but MRI would only be abnormal in a very advanced case

I have one scheduled. If the dr says everything is fine will that be reported to va even though I still have cts symptoms?

I don’t think it will make a difference as carpal tunnel is a clinical diagnosis meaning that having imaging is not required. The MRI could add some data on disease severity if they see, for instance, a structural anomaly or evidence of atrophy etc.

Thank you, I was worried the “new” things would be reported to va
