Referred condition deferred by VA

Hello all,

I am currently awaiting PEB findings (DA 199). VA completed ratings and forwarded them on Oct 5th. I was just notified by PEBLO on today that one of my referred conditions is deferred by VA. I am so frustrated as I was sure that I was near end of this process.

Will this for sure delay the PEB Adjudication?

Have you contacted your MSC to find out why the claim was deferred? It may be as simple as providing additional or missing documentation.

Thank you for your response. MSC is not much of help. I did call the VA and was told that my C&P exam and correlating DBQ were poorly written and conflicted with my medical records. They wanted clarification from the provider who completed the exam.

Oddly, this condition is well documented in medical records and should suffice for rating purposes. I requested that they make an immediate decision based off of what they had.
