After looking all over this forum for what I think everyone really wants to know (Expected Timelines) I figured I would start a thread talking abouth the timelines for the VA in Seattle. Ofcourse there are alot of factors that go into expected waits but it wont hurt to know what others are going through. PLEASE limit this thread to Seattle timelines and if you would like start one for other Regionals in a different thread. My timeline is in my signature block. I hope this helps someone.
 
Also my ebenifits has not changed yet. It still readsd gathering evidence. :mad:
 
5 May 2012- Initial MEB Meeting
July 2012-Exams Complete
31 Aug 2012-NARSUM Signed
7 Sep 2012- PEB Received Packet
1 Nov 2012- VA Received Packet (Unfit Memo emailed by awesome PEBLO on this site)
3 Jan 2013- Ebenefits says Pending Decision Approval (VA confirms Decision is made, just waiting on supervisors signature)

So... now it's of course, wait, wait, wait....
 
May 2012- Sent to WTB
July 2012- Referred to begin MEB
Aug 16 2012- Initial MEB appointment
September 2012- C&P appointments
October 1 2012- Signed my NARSUM
October 9 2012- NARSUM fowarded to PEB (Doc took 8 days to sign my LOD report)
November 6, 2012- found unfit:)( PEB system was down for 3 weeks:mad: )
November 9, 2012- pending decision approval
December 31, 2012- Va sent ratings to PEB
Jan 15, 2013- 199 typed up
Jan 16, 2013- Signed 199 100% DOD 100% VA P&T
Jan 16, 2013- VA exit exam

I wouldnt go off ebennies, its better to just call, some change after they receive the unfit memo and some don't, because after they send off your proposed ratings your status will shoot backwards anyway
 
re both of yall out of Seattle because it seems that the timelines are drastically different.

March 2012- Referred to MEB through P3 Profile
May 19 2012- Referral Accepted
Aug 1 2012- VA MSC contacted to make appointment
Aug 6 2012- MSC Appointment
Aug 16 2012- QTC appointment
October 4 2012- Profile rewritten
October 9 2012- Physician Dictated Narsum
October 12 2012- PEBLO received Narsum
October 16 2012- Signed Narsum (System was down)
October 23 2012- Packet Sent to PEB (System restored)
October 24 2012- PEB Accepts Packet
November 28 2012- Packet sent to VA for Ratings
December 12 2012- EBenefits changed to " Prep for Decision"

2 Jan 2013- VA sent packet to PEB
10 Jan 2013 (Estimated) packet received

17 Jan 2013- Got "prelim" ratings from MSC - 90% VA, 70% from (MEB REFERRED) which he explained is what the Army sent as a %... So just waiting for 199.

Prelim ratings means you still waiting for your eaters supervisor to sign off on it and sent it back to PEB, no telling how long it could take

Waiting for Seattle to finish ratings
 
That's when your MSC explains your benefits and ratings on the VA side and also gives you the dependent VA form to fill out and complete
 
I'm supported by the Seattle, Wa region area. Is there anything I should look into because it seems many have updates with ebennies of Prep for Decision after their packet is received by VA.

Mine doesn't seem to be updating and was told they were going to update the system on the 18th.

Stop going off ebenefits and just call the 1800# for an update
 
All they say is that its in the development phase.
 
Then you have to sit back and be patient until its far over estimated wait times..if mid feb comes around and still no ratings then it'll be a good time to start getting active..but if they just got your unfit dec 12 then you still have some time
 
You're right.. maybe ebennies doesn't work for everyone.
