TERA VA rating question

If electing to waive PEB and retire under TERA…what happens with the VA proposed rating? What do I have to do? My VA rep through this whole process has been horrible with communication and I do not want to request TERA and screw myself out of receiving VA benefits right away. Has anyone waived PEB, TERA retired…guidance please!?!?

If I remember correctly, proposed ratings are good for a year

I’ve heard the C&P exams are good for a year - but if I waive the IDES process and they tell the VA that, does the VA delete my case? Do I have to start over? How does the VA know to keep my file open as I’m transitioning another way? Thanks!
