Welp folks, if ever there was a time, that I wanted to go into a rage, the last few weeks has been it.
It all started with simple letter, Dear Mr. (twitch);
Your hip prosthethic has been identified as being affected by a recall and further testing and evaluation is required. blab lhablahbll
Ok, so right away I knew my hip was bad, lets face it, I've suffered for 3 years with ill effects, and pain and the rest of my body wasting away due to it. But I had to get tests and more tests, BTW this is in the middle of getting the MRI's for my back, so after 3 sessions in MRI machines, 2 in bone scans and a slew of blood work, today I find out that yes in fact my hip is bad and now I need a revision on a 3 year old hip.
Thats the good news BTW, the really pissy thing is, the recall actually started in 2012 just 8 months after I got this hip, and even with all the complications, they never bothered to check to see if mine was bad. Now I had a very large psuedotumor surrounding my fake hip, surgery in 2-3 weeks, more therapy more complications more pain more everything.
The rest of the good news is that there is an equal chance of me getting better and not dead, but those are about the only 2 choices there are. Better or dead.
