Timeline question

If any of your denied claims are part of an unfitting condition on the PEB then you can do a VARR. If they are not then you will have to wait till you are retired to file either a supplemental or appeal or higher level review. The sleep study if it’s not part of the PEB won’t affect the DOD retirement percentage.
So essentially since the sleep study was not one of the filed claims I will have to wait till I am separated to add it as a supplemental?

If that is the case I am fine with that since I will get the 100% one way or another.

It won’t change the DOD rating just the VA one. Good thing is you get the medical retirement regardless. The sleep study could help push you over the 100% mark depending on how it comes out.

Yes, that's what I am hoping for. I just want to get over that 100%.

I speak with ODC this wed. So, we will see if anything comes of that.

Got my retirement date this morning! I'm wondering if anyone knows if im able to shift my date few days earlier? If so would I just contact AFPC and ask the question? I asked my PEBLO and she was not sure.

My guess would be to reach out to AFPC and waive some PTDY (if awarded) or sell back a couple days of leave to get the date you want
