Not exactly sure what everyone’s experience was like due to covid, locations, different peblo’s, etc but was wondering if anyone had some insight on this process broken down stupid simple. April 19th my case was accepted by the PEB and haven’t heard anything since. Any ideas on timelines or who to contact on status? My actual EAS is end of July so I would like to be pro active but I’m kinda just stuck in limbo

6 weeks here… April 19th
Lee up the good work with updates- it lets me know I’m not crazy. Thanks.

Received my findings back and accepted them. Was told that my paperwork was sent back and now I should receive a new EAS within 30 days

Mine was sent Apr 8th and still no answer besides proposed VA. This is ridiculous. Congratulations on your results tho, hope you got what you were looking for!

I think because the initial board is literally mailed it takes so long. Not that that will make you feel better but hopefully you get an answer soon.

My case was shown as referred to the PEB for action on April 16th. Still waiting, received a memo from my PEBLO that the office that handles PEB's is apparently so short staffed that they had to call in reservists to help? Not quite sure on what's going on but getting frustrated with this situation. I was initially told the process can take up to 45 days and still have nothing back from the PEB as of friday the 28th.

I just call my peblo to see if he has anything showing in his system. My package was sent Apr 8th and still nothing.
My peblo does not tell me anything. I email her once a week and might hear back once a month saying no news. I submitted my NARSUM 05APR2021 and no word. On the va.gov website I had one claim closed and I click on it and there is no claim. The one with all my claims says updated 30APR2021 but she don't know what is going on and the VA said they are sending me update letters and I do not get anything even with the correct address. I am pretty frustrated.

You can ask them to email you a copy of the letters, might take a couple different people as it did for me but they sent me everything.

I opted to do the LDES system in order to get out sooner for a job offer and at this point I may lose out on the opportunity if they do not get back to me soon. Ive spoken with my PEBLO multiple times and he essentially told me theres nothing I can do but wait. Sorry to hear many of you are experiencing the same. Hopefully this gets resolved soon.

Incorrect. LDES (legacy disability eval system) leaves the VA out of the process to expedite your transition and you take care of it after you EAS. IDES (integrated disability eval system) integrates the VA claim process into the program while you are on active duty in order to ensure you begin getting paid disability as soon as you get out.
