9 or 10? weeks. Keeping count drives me insane.

Mine was accepted April 26th, Got an update this week that it's being reviewed by the Medical doctor finally. PEBLO told me expect about 2-3 weeks (two to hear my findings, 3 before I sign them). She's had one being reviewed for 40 days, but they have a complicated case apparently and out of the norm.

Sounds like the boards are finally moving again.

This week coming up makes 14 weeks. Case was sent up April 2nd and mol msg accepted April 19th

We are all in the same boat and it’s pretty crazy that this type of thing is even allowed to happen.
-case sent to PEB April 7, accepted on mol April 27
I check in with my peblo once a week but this whole process has been absolutely astounding. Knowing the marine corps our packages are sitting on someone’s desk collecting dust.

Yeah man, this is terrible. I was able to get my proposed ratings for all claims by calling the VA and playing dumb today. I can definitely expect to medically separate, not retire. My referred condition only got 10%, but I’m at 100% VA easily. I can live with those numbers! Now to just get the same news from the Navy, so I can go live my best life lol….

I'm at Polk...12 weeks (13 APR) since my NARSUM was sent....proposed VA ratings came back 19 May and still no PEB findings yet
I'm at Polk as well.

An NCO in my section had her PEB Findings come back at 40 days. She got word on 21 June, sent her elections on the 24th, Commanders form sent back signed on the 25th and 10 minutes after that she had her orders. She starts Terminal Leave on this Thursday. So its fast and furious once the findings come back, if you don't appeal.

I am at 34 as of today, so I expect that mine will come back this week or next. They quoted me 82 days from the time my packet was sent to the IPEB. So from the MEB (April 15th) until today is 83 days. I anticipate any day now.

I'll update when I get them back!

Thanks for the update..I’m not appealing because I don’t want to be stuck at Polk any longer lol smh I hope to get my findings back within the next couple weeks. Nothing else in this process has been fast so I look forward to things moving quickly once I found out the findings lol Looks like we were pretty close on when our narsums were sent. I was referred to MEB 12 Dec what about you?

I was told as of 7/1/2021 my 199 was complete and just waiting on signature.

Damn I wish my peblo was more helpful every time I call it’s the same thing lol “it’s still with the PEB” but a lot of other peblos can at least say if the 199 has been started….and he seems annoyed with ppl question him…had my SGM call him too and he said “he’s aware I’m past the timeline that the army was supposed to meet for this part of the process but we’re waiting” I wish they held feet to fire when it came to this IDES timeline. They have way too many of us stuck in limbo and have no idea when will be out….it’s so frustrating to be told it will take this amount of time then that doubles and triples and the only time you hear from peblo is when YOU reach out to them

Everyone be annoying, reach out to someone in the wounded warrior program they actually have a lot of connections, call the VA and exaggerate the importance of your case saying your command is wondering what’s going on (see if it works), try your best to find someone and call them and tell them this not being signed is holding you up from getting your apartment that you were expecting to get by a certain date and now you have to find somewhere else to live… sometimes you end up just being a number to people unless you put your foot down.

I was referred on 1 February. Well, I think I was technically ref 21 Jan, but the process was officially kicked off 1 February. Called the PEBLO office yesterday. Tried to blow me off with the usual canned responses. But I got her to get the supervisor to look my case up. I've never called for an update, but I am now at 42 days and the Army average is only 33. Supervisor said my DA 199 is being "typed" and should be released "any minute". However, I have seen in the forums that the DA 199 can stay in "typing" for prolonged amounts of time. So I am hopeful next week!

Good luck to you and I hope you get it soon. I called my Ombudsman and he helped me expedite my 199 being signed. I finally got a call from my Peblo and he said my 199 was complete. Should be getting my separation orders soon.

Hey everyone just wanted to pass an update I received from my PEBLO. The medical officers are now working their way through cases submitted in April, and they’re also in the process of training new staff to help get through this backlog. Not much I know but I figured this may help ease some minds.
