An interesting piece is that my eas is the 29th of April as opposed to the 30th. Does anyone know how this plays a role in my VA compensation? To my knowledge, I will be able to receive VA compensation for the month of May, because April 30th will be my last military pay and I wont be receiving both concurrently.

Accurate, and you should expect your first VA payment on June 1st.

Do we get back pay for that month?

Update: also received my orders today. I checked out before I did a skillbridge so it all worked out smoothly. 60 days leave, 20 PTAD, selling 7.5. I also work at a HHQ so it was pretty easy to expedite things and make it work in my favor when it came to the Marine Corps side of things.

Nope, not sure how long it’s supposed to take….
I've called mmsr-4 and they haven't received my stuff and I signed on the 28th. They told me I probably will see something later this week or next week. I just want the date so I can get the move scheduled

What’s MMSR-4? And yeah I feel you

There was a bad winter storm up in the DC area, I heard the entire base is closed. So they are probably working remotely.
