Thank you for sharing.

Did you get a notification on MOL before even submitting your package to the board? My PEBLO submitted my case July 15th and I haven't received any type of notification in MOL.

Yeah I did which I thought was a little weird.

That's interesting. It looks like those who elect LDES don't receive an MOL notification!

Just waiting for the rating to get back from the VA.
Little update I emailed my MSC asked what the status was on my VA rating and he said they came back just waiting on the MEB. Hope to hear from my PEBLO about them soon.

My command keeps trying to go against what is written on my LIMDU paper and also they want to send me to ITX with them next month. I had to call my LIMDU coordinator and the naval hospital a few times so they can talk with them about not sending me but they are still set on sending me with them. I had to get one of the officers in my units BAS to talk with them about it but my command has been real quiet lately. I'm wondering if I should request mast and talk with the battalion CO and SgtMaj about this and be possibly moved to WWBN so I don't keep getting screwed like this. I need advice on this can anyone help?

I just started a conversation with you over this topic just to let you know.

Google WWBN and click the refer a Marine link. It has a checklist and command letter. If you meet the requirements, why not.
I looked it up and I met all the requirements except for one. I’m going to call them directly and ask if they’ll accept me.

My command still hasn’t done my NMA I’ve been waiting on that for about three weeks

Your should be pressuring your PEBLO and your LIMDU coordinator to have it done. They have a set amount of time to have it complete and they're just ignoring it then you need to start talking to your direct supervisor to pressure the command and if they don't help keep working your way up.

Appendix 7 of enclosure 4 DoDM 1332.18-V2

Commanders must:
a. Provide the non-medical assessment of the Service member’s ability to perform their current job and the duties expected of the member’s current office, grade, rank, or rating within 5 calendar days of the PEBLO’s request.

I wish I knew this earlier on. It took them over 3 weeks to sign mine.

I got my PEBLO and my lawyer to harass my LtCol daily until it was signed. As civilians, they can do it all day long.
After this four day weekend if he doesn’t have it he’s going to email him back and cc the SgtMaj, CO, MO, and 1stSgt.

Finally got my NMA back only took a month for it to come back to me. Now I just have to sign everything and get it sent up to the MEB. How long does it take in the MEB?

It depends again on whos handling it. Check back on that DoDM i referenced in previous reply. The only person that's going to take care of you is yourself so use that reference to pressure whoever you're dealing with. Mine took a month because my PEBLO just sat on it and lied about it being with the medical officer even though they signed it the day after we sent it to NHCP.

Signed all the documents that will go to the MEB then to the PEB. My PEBLO told me that the PEB is taking long than usual, does anyone know why and how long its taking now?

Pcs, not enough medical officers, 2,900 cases all going to once place since its both Navy and USMC, about 5 officers total last I heard. Its been about 3-5 cases a week.

Hopefully the Sept 1 message to the president of the peb will speed things up as they now can waive the med officer portion during adjudication.
