We seem to be on a similar path. My last appointment with QTC was 10Sep and I had 3 exams total. Almost a month and still waiting on a signature from one person. I've always been a wait and see kind of guy but after going through this cluster of a process, my advice is to keep calling once per week. Squeaky wheel gets the grease....unfortunately

did you have legal review your documents? I've heard that is ideal and that they can even ballpark your ratings based on information provided.
 
I did not have them review. I know it was an option, but I was more concerned with getting my stuff moving along. I believe I have a good idea of my ratings as long as the PEB finds my five conditions unfitting.
 
Makes sense. My stuff just left QTC and hit the VA. Waiting for someone to reach out. I've debated skipping legal as well. Just ready for this process to be over with.
 
I have seen enough NARSUM's that I felt comfortable skipping legal. I suggest if anything looks odd or you don't understand something, then to contact them. It should only take a couple of days.

What happens after you receive the DA 199? Any idea how long until you don't have to drill?
 
Well, I already know my proposed ratings are incorrect. So, I will be requesting a VARR. Not sure how long that will take. As far as drilling, my state has a MTU(Medical Transition Unit) that is a non-drilling unit. We attend our appointments as split train so that we can still get UTA's for the year.
 
Gotcha. Appreciate the info and interested in hearing how it works out for you. Spoke with my PEBLO on 4Nov and he said to give him a week to get everything put together and sent to PEB. I've heard TX has an MTU but im still doing normal drills.
