Good Afternoon,
Whats the VA time period looking like for a "NEW CLAIM" being filed and receiving paperwork about a decision. I know before, here in SC it was around 3-4 months, is it still running around that time frame.
 
It depends on number of conditions, if it is "Fully Developed," the merit of your claim and tons of other variables. I do think the process isn't any slower than it was in the past and the initial claim backlog has been dramatically reduced.

Appeals are another story.
 
I already receive benefits, just trying to add 2 new things to my profile. These would be associated with the original claim of which i receive benefits. The VA rep filed the claim, i saw the VA doctor, the records are in the system, but she still faxed the latest doctors reports.
