VA delay in submitting proposed ratings

Has anyone experienced a significant delay in receiving their proposed ratings? My case has been stucked with the VA Seattle for ratings since June 9th, I have called and spoke with them but they couldn’t provide a definite answer as to when they will be able to finish and submit my proposed ratings. I am just fed up with the whole situation. MSC not helping at all, Peblo said there’s little to nothing he could do bcoz he is only working for the DOD and not the VA.
I got referred to IDES in March, completed C&P in April
Narsum signed on May 21st
Found unfit on June 9th
And my stuff has been stucked at the VA for ratings since then.
 
Im in the exact same boat. Waiting for Ratings since JUN 16. Other people have submitted packets after me and already got their proposed ratings, so hopefully we get ours soon. I had 35 conditions listed so maybe that's why it's taking a minute?

Same thing here, mine is 35 claims too. I have 3 additional supplemental claims but MSC said VA will not work on the 3 until I’m done with IDES. When I spoke with someone at the VA last week, she said my case just got assigned to a rater on 22nd of August despite the case have been with them for rating since June 9th. Even though we have 35 claims that doesn’t mean the VA should take their sweet time, it’s be 3 months waiting on the VA. I guess I will have to be calling them every 2 weeks till they get it done. Spoke to my Peblo on the 4th and he has submitted an inquiry to their management team but haven’t heard back.

I literally call the VA every day for an update even if they read me the same script.
 
Me too since June 26th they said my case is stuck in backlog and maybe expect ratings at the latest by October
 
Called the Va and basically my case has been siting at the “ ready for a decision “ but no rater has been assigned … my claim has been in that phase for 2 months at the Va

Ive had a rater since 15JUL but it's also still sitting in "ready for decision"
 
Same boat here just enjoy the paychecks at this point at least we’re getting paid to wait

I asked my Peblo to contact the VA and he was told they are getting ready with the completion but they wouldn’t give him a timeline. I made a virtual appointment with the Seattle VA again last Friday, and the the guy that spoke with me said my case is already at the very final stage for decision that the rating team has had it for like a month now but it’s always been done on the order it was received. So he gave me their fax number to send in a priority processing request since I told him I’m about to lose a Job offer due to the delay. He said hopefully they should get everything done in few days before my request even got submitted. I’m giving them another week, I will be contacting that office this Friday again

Nothing yet. This wait is horrendous. Please update when you get word back I will also update if/when I do.
 
Supposedly, I talked to an MSC that isn’t assigned to me just for info and to cross check. Apparently Seattle VARO isn’t even looking at IDES claims until they hit 90 days from receipt. I was found unfit 7 July 2025 with 25 total conditions. it’s been assigned to a rater 5-6 times. My assigned MSC and PEBLO don’t push for anything and tell me I’m impatient and lack on updates, apparently Seattle is also on Mandatory OT and Weekends.

Thankyou for the insight I just finished week 13 of waiting … called still no rater assigned … I’m assuming at this point I won’t even get my ratings by the 18th week timeline they told me . Probably will be in until 2026 waiting :(… sometimes I try to call the Va but they read the same script and my MSC is also no help

The 18th week timeline seems just a tad excessive if I’m honest. That’s probably worst case scenario. Regarding claims I’ve also been told larger claims or claims with extremely rare diseases (like me) have to wait for a senior rater or special rater. I would suggest you find out the day the IPEB found you unfit and begin counting from there.

Also, please for the love of everything, reach out to the Washington state VERA and schedule an appointment their view of claims are better than the Hotline and MSC’s and they are so so so much better work with and they don’t redirect you to your MSC or PEBLO.

Thankyou I will try this and July 14th was when I was found unfit so 10 weeks from that date but peblo told me 12-18 from the date they submitted my packet to peb

So after the IPEB finds you unfit it takes less than a week for the VA to get your claim. Like I said Seattle isn’t even thinking about your claim because you haven’t hit 90 days since the receipt of it. You see what I mean? Like your claim has to hit 90 days minimum before they even think about working your claim and likely longer cause I think you said your claim is huge.

I’m not sure what regional office my packet was sent to but I’m medboarding out of Hawaii
