Does anyone know how long it takes for the VA rating? I recieved my unfit for duty memo and my stuff was sent to VA on the 27th of August and STILL have not heard anything back... Its been more than two months how long has everyones stuff stayed at VA?
 
It honestly depends on the case load at the location it was sent and amount of conditions claimed. Also, don't forget that the IT gremlins like to wreak havoc on computer systems.
 
It went to Ft Lewis.... Is it possible that it has left VA and the system just has not been updated??? I am just so ready to be done!
 
It is possible. Your PEBLO should be able to check the "system" to see if it was received by the PEB and your MSC should be able to see if the VA sent it back.
 
My unfit got to VA Sep 13. My eBenefits have updated twice this week. It is in the "Pending Decision Approval" stage right now.
 
The "Pending Decision Approval" means that the VA is done with your packet. It will stay in that phase until after your last day in the military. From that point the VA can start to complete your claim.
 
Yea my PEBLO is saying that it is still at VA that is crazy..... I was foung unfit like august 16......

How do I get in contact with my MSC? I dont even know who that is......Needless to say the people here are not the most helpful thats why I am on this site..... I am so lost!

Its the VA rep you spoke to.
 
Your MSC is the person that you sat down with to fill out the VA paperwork. Should have been around the same time you did the initial counseling with your PEBLO. I received an email to my AKO from my MSC when I was assigned one. If all else your PEBLO should know or have an idea of who your MSC is.
 
But it does not have the date of VA getting my unfit.... does that show on ebenefits becuase if thats the case mine must just be sitting somewhere.....

No. I found out that date when I called my PEB directly.
 
JK I just scrolled over the Pending decision approval and it says that my eval process started Oct 11 for my rating.... hopefully it wont take them too long to get it back!
 
If you look at items received by the VA there should be something from the PEB. That would be the approximate date they got your unfit letter.
 
Yea when I scroll over the little timeline thing at the top it shows me that the VA started their process Oct 11 and says that they are unable to provide an approximate date yet so I am just going to keep checking. Thanks for the help I had no idea that I could do that and the PEB on my Medpros dont update ever.....
