Yes because you didn't claim it but it was found and diagnosed during your SHA. So now you will need to file another supplemental claim(I'm assuming they already started one since they want you to go to a exam) and it will be added to your overall rating.

How long did it take to get that second email after the va site said claim is closed ?

Got the email 2 days after the Va said it was closed
I'm still waiting for the second email. My claim closed out on Monday so I'm hoping to receive it soon. For some reason, the APFC processing timeline after the VA sends the proposed ratings is very inconsistent. I've seen some in your case that get processed in 2 days, some 7 days, and others upwards to a month. The goal timeline is supposed to be 5 calendar days for them to come up with the proposed distribution, but they don't seem to be held to it like the service member is held to the 6 calendar days for elections.

I’m glad you brought that up becuase I’ve seen individuals on this forum have there witching a few days and I’m sitting here waiting day 17 right now. Also my peblo hasn’t been a help at all which seems a lot of people have the same problem

Try to ask your PEBLO if they see any updates from their end. I believe they have access to VTA which shows the notes and where your case is at. They should be able to see if AFPC has received your ratings back from the VA, if there is any errors, or if they've started working on your proposed distribution. If your PEBLO refuses to help, you can send an email with your leadership asking for answers, or you could reach out to AFPC and see if someone could give you more information. Although, if they don't work the disability branch at AFPC, they won't be able to get into the specifics of your case due to it being protected information.

During this process I've learned that timelines vary widely. Some cases seem to process very fast while others take longer. And of course, having a bad MSC or PEBLO can be worse for your timeline. In my case, my MSC hasn't been much help and actually stalled my claim for a couple of weeks due to not uploading my initial claim file into my folder. I hope you get your email soon!
