Hey,

Thought I'd share my timeline to help some of you out. My case was put on hold multiple times so my timeline up to the package submission is not the norm.

Jan 2019- Start of Med board
Apr 2019- QTC's complete
Jun 2019- Med Board on hold for further evaluation
Apr 2020- 2019 QTC's expired, had to redo 3 QTC's, pending 2 more due to COVID
Oct 2020- Remaining QTC's complete
Nov 12, 2020- Personal Statement, NARSUM Complete; Also found out the Med board was using the VA ratings from my 2019 QTC's even though my 2020 exams were available (weird)
Nov 18 2020- Package sent to DC; Was told 4-6 weeks for a response
Dec 17 2020- MOL notification the PEB has accepted my case (odd that it took so long). PEBLO stated the 4-6 week response starts at this point which is kind of frustrating

I'll update with new information.

November 12th Final QTC Appt
December 21st Narsum signed and sent up
December 29th MOL Notification for "accepted by the PEB for action"
Was also told 4-6 Weeks before we get our findings back. So I was told I should get our findings Before the end of Feb.
Apparently my PEBLO said after the end of the year holidays, things pick up pretty quickly due to them trying to catch up.

Lol the waiting never seems to end. My kool-aid tank has run dry and the "isms" are really getting to me.

UPDATE-ish: No information from the board. For my Navy and USMC people, My PEBLO informed me the PEB is sending completed packages in batches around the 15th and 30th of every month. This may explain some of the delay in our packages. Fingers crossed we hear something soon.

Hey all,

Got my package back this morning. 80% DoD TDRL, 100% VA. Paperwork indicates proposed grant for dependant education..guess that means P&T? I'm submitting for TERA so the TDRL is a no factor.

I have a meeting with the IDES attorney tomorrow to go over options and PEB waiver. I'll keep this updated.

As I was going over my PEB paperwork I saw the VA combined my, what should have been, 30% asthma rating with my 50% sleep apnea w/cpap rating for a grand total of 50% as sleep apnea with asthma. What the fuck? I don't know what those two have in common other than being found under respiratory.

In the end, I am not personally affected by this because I was awarded 100% P&T but I guarantee they're fucking someone else.

Is that rating combination common and/or correct?

No clue.. But congrats on your findings! I got my EAS of 20210415. Hoping I can go on terminal leave February 120th!

My PEB case was submitted the 3rd and accepted today, when can you start checking out? Is it when your findings come back?

I started checking out immediately upon receiving my findings because I'm trying to start terminal March 3rd. However, you typically start checking out 30 days prior to your terminal date.
