Howdy Folks,

I was found unfit for duty on my TDRL re evaluation, is that a good sign for being placed on PDRL ? Thanks for any information.

All depends on the percentage and whether the condition is stable or not.

It *is* possible to stay on TDRL after first eval, and have to get another eval in 12 months or so. Seen it.

What do they mean by stable
I am not a doctor...so layman's terms here:

Stable meaning any prescription level has stopped fluctuating (as well as tour reaction to the meds), means any therapy or physical treatment has produced steady results. Doesn't mean better or worse, just means not fluctuating.

(Obviously there are exceptions. Cancer is an obvious one...if you're getting worse but you're doing everything you can, you'll be PDRL.)

That is one reason why for most conditions, the services don't see you for at least a year into TDRL.

Well its been 3 years since i seperated, my branch has seen me once and that was this month for a final exam, i visit VA almost 6-7 x a month for treatment, been to over 100 appointments for MH. Guess Covid really back up the system so everything is in a uproar.

If it's been 3 years since you separated to TDRL, then you're about to expire. They don't have time for another eval. They'll have to make a decision. Now it's a question of greater than or less than 30%.

Yes it has, this is the final exam, i know im gonna expire, just happy i got the re eval appointment, its been a wacky ride
