TDRL 6 month PPE Question

I was recently contacted to undergo a PPE following 6 months on TDRL. I was originally found unfit for two conditions from the FPEB, 30% Migraines (Stable) and 70% PTSD (Unstable). I have been scheduled for both a neurology appointment and a psychology appointment. I'm assuming that the neurology is for the Migraine condition. However, if the condition was rated as stable am I supposed to be going for a PPE for that condition? Also, what should I expect at the two PPEs? I currently have a VA rating of 100% PnT that I have had for approximately 4 years. Any insight would be appreciated.

The military shouldn't be scheduling an exam for the migraines if PDRL. Double check your paperwork. If migraines really are PDRL then reach out to them to find out why? There may be a mistake on their end. They couldn't change the rate for migraines by law even if they wanted to.

Thank you. I will check with them and see. My final findings for the FPEB placed me on the TDRL but the migraine rating was listed as stable.

You cannot be TDRL and PDRL at the same time, and federal law requires PTSD cases be made TDRL with a re-eval in 6 months (in most cases). In this case, since you are TDRL for PTSD and required for a re-eval now, they're just checking everything together. Not really anything to worry about, if you're already stable for migraines.

There was some confusion previously and I think the statement about my "stable" condition was confused. Appreciate the info.

It's not very common, but because of the PTSD law, it is possible to be on TDRL with other stable conditions. The PTSD sort of takes precedence.

Best of luck to you.
