MEB and Claims on VA Website

I gotta question for you all. I am going MEB, about halfway through my claims, and nothing on my VA.gov profile is updated. There are no pending claims, nothing. I know they have multiple DBQs as they confirmed as much, but my page says nothing. Is this normal during this phase of the process? I would venture to say no as the documentation for my appointments says to login to my page to add any additional evidence to support my claims, but there is nothing there for me to do so.... Thanks.

@kappy66 I thought the same exact thing when I was going through my appointments. I reached out to my VA MSC to ask about this and she told me that nothing will populate on the app or website because you're still AD. Once you become a veteran then things will start populating. The only exception to this that I've found through various forums on here is that when your claim is closed it will show up in the app.

As for now, you can check Tricare Online (while it still exists) to see your DBQ's when they get uploaded under the documents tab.

I call the VA every week to get an update and last time I called I asked this exact question. The VA rep said I cannot see anything since I am on a med board. I think @usmc0612 is right in saying it is because we are active duty. The VA number I call is 1(800)827-1000. They just say I am in decision phase but I always ask more like if there is an estimated timeline. Have not had any luck yet.

I never received an update on the VA website until my ratings were complete. They opened & closed the same day & I had to call to get my proposed ratings. Throughout the process I called the 1800 number a few times and received similar updates to Octopus_man.

That's crazy that you have to wait that long if you didn't post a thread here and have usmc0612 tell you to check a fossilized medical website for your DBQs. He was right, they're on there and nobody in the DOD or VA could tell me that. Much appreciated.

Not sure if I'm the only one having this issue so far, but none of my DBQ's have made it to TOL and I'm told they never will. It was explained to me that because the portal is disappearing in October it is being phased out. If you enlisted or commissioned after the full pledge of Genesis, meaning you have no records with the older system, you have no access to your record because there is no record to pull. I spoke to support and this was the only answer they could come to, so I believe the only updates I'll ever get will be through my PEBLO as the case proceeds. There's been a few notions that I'll see them on Genesis, but I've yet to see anything and I'm skeptical at best as I haven't heard anyone else get them this way.

Call the contractor and ask if the DBQs were sent to the VA.

I was told they would be on Genesis through the process but they posted on TricareOnline any where from 2 days to 2 months after the exam was completed.

There's certainly one of them with the VA, my first exam was submitted but the rest are still with VES. Wondering if they all need to be in before anyone sees anything period.

VES was my vendor. After the exam, they go through a QA process with other medical staff. Once completed they transmit to the VA and you are able to see them in TOL.

I got my VA rating closed on Feb 19th 2024- I called the next week and asked for an email copy of my decision letter. VA was fast got it emailed within 15 minutes. Currently been almost a month. I'm in the QA waiting Phase for DoD and then I can sign my findings once they get back to me. I would call the VA though and ask for an emailed copy of your decision letter.

How long was that after you signed off on your NARSUM?

Im on the same boat completed CPs 2/26/24. MSC forward stuff to rater around 2/27/24. I am reserves, so he explained that for reservists we are going to get a rating decision before the actual medical retirement date. MSC said maybe a month or two for ratings, but PEB will not be complete until July/Aug 2024.

Nothing on the VA.gov either. MSC said nothing will show up till ratings complete.
