I just got ahold of him he said I’m waiting on the VA still for ratings. He said they have about 1200 cases backlogged and I’m one of them. Then once they return it to PEB it goes through the QA phase to match the condition ratings to the unfit conditions. He didn’t have a full timeline estimate just due to the backlog. I’m just glad it’s rolling along. @jsaint05 I would guess you’ll hear this week since you already got your VA ratings back, and you are in QA. As @CoyoteSwapped said Jeff told him his entered QA today and would get findings back in about 2 days.

So I just got off the phone with him as well, he said my case left QA last Friday and now they’re waiting on the VA. @Corpsman2015 like you said since my case was already closed on the VA side and waiting for a decision I’m assuming they’re just verifying the results found between the VA and the PEB and maybe will send proposed ratings to me soon? I’m not sure, does anybody have a good answer for that? I thought the DOD came up with ratings first and then the VA but I think mine was backward. Anybody else have that happen with their case?
I spoke to Jeff this morning at 0734 EST and he said about 2 more days for findings to come back. That I’m in QA right now

1.go to PEB and vote Fit/unfit
2. VA for ratings
3. DOD for QA and assignment of VA ratings to the conditions. All your unfit conditions assume the ratings from the VA that’s why IPEB Is better as the DoD doesn’t generate your percentages.
4. Return to you with findings
It seems like maybe yours needed to go back to the VA for something possibly. But all so strange everyone’s is a little different process and speed
Based upon my experience with the PEB system in the past. I would assume Yes. I think they would not waste the VA time generating ratings for you if you were to be returned fit for duty. I asked Jeff today if he could tell me but he said he can’t. I’m sure that’s just protocol to inhibit any issues during the process. But they vote on your case first with everything from the MEB so that is the Fit/unfit then from there they determine all the ratings and sep/retire
Received proposed ratings from the VA on the 13th and claim is not closed yet, called the VA they said its pending "final review".
Yeah when I called the VA today they said that they had the claim but it wasn’t showing rated yet. I’m hoping the MSC could see further into an estimated timeline for me to be rated. But I’ve noticed like everyone says the claim showing closed may/may not happen while in IPEB however getting your proposed ratings means it’s done on the VA side and your waiting for the Navy side at least.
Dude at PEB said theyre waiting on VA which is weird to me
I emailed MSC she said that the VA has 20 days to complete, rate and return the packages to the PEB from when they receive it. So obviously that I’m sure varies some requiring longer but that is a good estimate for all of us to use maybe.

Usually if they request rating from va pretty sure your unfitCongrats! Still waiting on the VA for God knows what, I just hit up my MSC and asked him if he can see anything on his side regarding a Fit/Unfit decision. Hopefully I hear something back from him soon.

VA claim closed today. Called them and they said that the ratings were generated yesterday so I’m assuming the PEB got em this morning
