Army Case Timeline, Whats next? Fort Jackson

I’m on the almost exact same timeline as victorrobinson20. In late Oct I saw my case close on the VA App. Once you see that, you should be able to reach out to your PEBLO/MSC and they can give you your proposed ratings. That’s what they did for me. It seems like everyone is waiting on their DA-199.

At this point my dream job is to be on the PEB because apparently you don’t have to do any work.
Lol from all the stuff I have seen it seems really like it. I haven’t seen anything on the Va app as of yet I am on the same timeline as you guys as it seems. Maybe a little behind

My understanding is they are super backlogged. It is also worth mentioning we are nearing the holiday season. I haven't seen any VA ratings yet... I'm sure we will all be out in the next few months regardless. I have complex PTSD but im able to manage the majority of my symptoms at work, there are literally soldiers who have missing limbs that ar
Thank you very much mine went to first vote PEB 3 days after yours so hopefully I hear soon. Did you hear something from your peblo or through the Va ? Sorry if it is a lot of questions
I pestered my PEBLO, and he finally noticed a change in the notes; this is my third PEBLO since I started this process. The army is in dire need of more of them, especially since soldiers are getting MEB at an alarming rate.

Thank you for the help and yeah they definitely need more of them I am on my 2nd currently so I understand. Hope we are all out soon and start our new journey.

Wow this is almost my exact timeline up to the PEB votes. My PEBLO won’t disclose how that part is going she is only telling me “we are waiting on a PEB signature” which I hope means it’s almost over!

I'm wondering if one individual is having a career performance issue and stopping the whole process for many.

My buddy just got out friday and started the whole process a week before me, Had his D199 8-10 days after VA claims closed, Im on expedite list and claims closed on 29th of oct and still nothing

I’m the same situation being in the SRU. Claims closed October 5th. Nothing yet.

For those that may not know, the DAV can see the proposed ratings when they show up. The VA 1000 number would not say if they were there nor let me know the actual numbers. The DAV read the numbers to me, but would not print them as they were still just proposals. It actually shocked the DAV worker as he did not know they could see the IDES proposals.

Who is the DAV and how did you get ahold of them?

The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) is an organization that falls under the Veterans Service Officer (VSO) title which are free and approved veteran representatives authorized by the VA itself. Most VSOs do not deal with the IDES process, but rather the veterans benefits side of things related to comp and pen applications. They also provide many other services such as driving Veterans to appointments.

So do I get a notification to my personal email I put on my Va claim form or to my military email when the process is complete with Va? I have two Va accounts due to creating one when I was went through sfltap previously in my military career and now one that is connected to my dod account

I used my personal email through the entire process. Both the MSC (VA) and PEBLO (DoD) corresponded this way to include my final notifications.

Im where you guys are at. Started the MEB in January. Narsum was submitted in September. Case closed with the VA 30 OCT. My PEBLO would tell me nothing but my VA MSC told me my DOD and VA ratings. Finally my PEBLO just told me I'm at the "PEB Signature" phase on 20 NOV. Does anyone know how long that final signature has been taking for people? I have a great job lined up but my PEBLO just flat out ignores me when I tell him that.

this is me to a tee. I have to start the job by January first or I’m shit out of luck. It seems less and less likely everyday that passes with no info.

Mine took from Friday accepting the findings to Tuesday receiving everything signed off and orders.

My 199 isn't available for me to sign yet. This thing where PEBLO's are telling people they don't have any information isn't true. My DOD and VA percentage and unfit findings were available the first week of November. My MSC just gave them to me and was like don't tell anyone I told you I'm not supposed to. My 199 is just awaiting the final signature from the PEB per my PEBLO and then I will sign it. But I've seen some people waited months in this "PEB signature" phase.

You should see if your MSC will give you your ratings. My PEBLO wouldn't tell me anything but my MSC gave me my VA and DOD percentage two weeks after my case closed with the VA. He said he wasn't supposed to but he was a bro and hooked it up. My point is the percentages are available before the 199 is complete. I think the PEBLO's on the DOD side just don't want you to know that because there is nothing that can be actioned until the 199 is available. My 199 has been awaiting final signature since the 20th but my MSC said both ratings and overall fitness determination was available the first week of November.

My VA app doesnt even show my case being closed, they say i have been in decision phase for 3 months or so now but my PEBLO said that my claim is in seattle as of today.
