I've been a long-time reader and now first-time poster! Just wanted to publish my timeline so far here in Hawaii at TAMC

3 April - Permanent profile signed / enrolled in DES
4 April - First Contact with PEBLO
8 April - 1st appointment with PEBLO
11 April - 1st contact and appointment with MSC
27 April - 1st C&P exam
5 May - Last C&P exam
4 June - NARSUM available for review
24 June - Appointment with legal (we lost our counsel here at Tripler and had to be referred to Fort Carson for legal review)
24 June - NARSUM Signed and forwarded to PEB
11 July - PEB preliminary finding of "UNFIT"

Currently I am just waiting on proposed ratings from the VA. I only had 12 claims so fingers crossed that it won't take 12-16 weeks! I'll update as available.

Good luck man. I just retired today and did my meb through Tripler as well. I had 29 claims and about 45 when they put them separately and after my peb it took 3 weeks. So good luck man.

Did you guys do a FOIA request to get a look at your exams? Mine took 3 days to get, so I could get an idea what the doctors said.

Yea you can go through the records department at your base clinic/hospital. My posts have more info on how to. But you don’t need to pay or nothing just do a request for your entire medical records

No I'm talking from the VA to get your C&P exams. You can do the request on the VA website to get all your exams to check them out prior to them finishing your ratings

Yea that's what I'm saying, your DBQ's/exams are in there. if you go the FOIA route then there is payments involved and all other craziness.

If you're still on active duty you can get a copy of your exams via either your base records office in the clinic, or your PEBLO (IDK what the army calls them, but the people at the clinic that manage your MEB stuff and you go to to sign forms and stuff.)

If your not on active duty, then you'd have to go through the VA as far as I'm aware.

I went through the VA website did the request and got them 3 days later. Didn't pay anything. As far as I understand, your C&P exams wouldn't be in your medical records until after the va is done with them as they are an independent exam, once they are completed and you've been given your rating through ides then I'd imagine they would be in your records.. Obviously there are multiple ways to get them but I didn't pay anything through the VA website so that's another option.

That's good to know, but yea once the C&P exams are done their sent to two places, the DOD and the VA. It's why people used to get there exams from Tricare Online, cause the DOD maintains your entire medical record while on active duty. I just called the VA claim hotline, and when they said they had 'received the exams' I just filled out a release for records to myself at the base clinic and boom, there it is.

MHS genesis honestly sucks, IDK why it doesn't have ALL of your medical records, I miss TOL.

Nice. Ya génesis is trash, typical of them to switch to an inferior system. Just like in the Army when they switched from the ERB/ORB to the STP and Ippsa...trash

Same I'm still waiting on the VA to rate my claim. I call every day and its in the "decision phase".... I also got found unfit by PEB the same time as y'all
Any word on how long the decision phase is? mines been there for 4 weeks now

Still no update. Still in the decision phase. The waiting sucks. I have six kids and I'm trying to coordinate travel and starting school and such. As far as C&P exams, they don't get uploaded straight to genesis. They are however viewable through the Joint Longitudinal Viewer which usually only DoD healthcare professionals have access too. If you do a records request through Med Records down in the TAMC basement, I'm pretty sure you can get the pension exams because I've personally seen them there in JLV. I could be mistaken though. I'm also pretty sure that my PEBLO emailed to me before my packet was sent to the PEB. Maybe not....I've been blown up too many times.....my memory is shot

You could try an ERD and see if your chain of command supports and your local human resources people do as well. I've had one fire d where it worked and one where it didn't but it's worth a shot. ERD is early return of dependents.
